Leather & Bead jewelry
Handmade in Alaska.
My Story
My name is Luisa and I was born and raised in Alaska. I currently live in Anchorage, Alaska but I grew up in the tiny town of Hope. I was introduced to beading at the age of ten when I started going to a class with my mom, and I fell in love with it! I would draw inspiration from my Mexican heritage and life in Hope and spend many hours beading.
When I moved out of Hope, I continued to rely on crafting as my favorite pastime, but I began to dabble in many other mediums. Since returning to beading I have introduced a few of those new materials to my work, including leather and metal.
My designs are influenced by the people and patterns of places I've been, and I like to think of every piece as a small representation of my appreciation for each.
